Mr. Eric Laplante’s practice focuses primarily in corporate and commercial law.
He also acts as counsel in the implementation and completion of transactions in the context of bankruptcy, insolvency, and restructuring proceedings.
Native of Petit-Rocher, New Brunswick, Eric Laplante is active in the fields of commercial and corporate law. He advises his clients in the purchase, sale and merger, incorporation, organization and reorganization of business corporations, general or limited partnerships. In this capacity, he negotiates and drafts various types of commercial contracts and assists his clients in the drafting of shareholder agreements in both French and English languages.
He represents different financial institutions, business corporations, general, undeclared or limited partnerships.
In parallel to his career in law, Mr. Laplante had the opportunity to hold several positions with a major junior hockey team for five seasons.
