Jessica Gauthier

Professional career

Ms. Jessica Gauthier practises mainly in the fields of insurance law and civil and professional liability.

Since she has practiced in these areas since being called to the Bar in 2010, Ms. Gauthier has had the opportunity to represent numerous insurers, both in first instance and before appeal Courts. She carried out various mandates relating to subrogation, policyholders’ defence, insurance coverage and fraud.

Her care for proportionality and her pragmatic approach ensure the efficient management of her files, in terms of costs and expeditious settlement. She particularly appreciates her involvement in cases showing technical and complex concepts, which has allowed her to develop some knowledge in various fields related to construction, products manufacturing and insurance contracts’ interpretation.
